COVID-19 update 19-7-21: Rapid Ascent is monitoring the various lockdowns and COVID-19 restrictions around Australia and how they may impact travel to the NT for Run Larapinta in August. We are hopeful that restrictions will ease so everyone can attend the race, but advise that we will still proceed with the 2021 race even if some runners from some states are unable to get to / from the NT due to the COVID circumstances in their home region.
Protecting the health and safety of the NT community and our competitors is our no. 1 priority, so runners who are forced to withdraw due to COVID-19 restrictions are entitled to a refund less a $50 admin fee. Read our refund policy for further details or contact us if you have any questions.

“Run Larapinta was an amazing way to see a beautiful part of Outback Australia. The trail is tough, but the beauty of the area, its vastness and majesty made every step worthwhile. I feel privileged to have seen a special part of our country and met some lovely people along way.” Karen, 2019 participant.
